Brothers,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Space City Tres Dias Men’s Weekend #10. It has been quite humbling to have been selected as the Rector for this weekend and I am honored to be able to serve His community in this way.

My name is Travis WalkingStick, and I attended Grace Gulf Coast Tres Dias #5 in the Spring of 2016. I, along with my wife, Laura, and 3 daughters, Kylee (13), Ryan (10) & Waverly (6) worship at Newlands Church in Katy, TX.

My main focus for the weekend is to Be Still and let the Lord speak to me and through me as He builds the team for weekend #10. My prayer for the candidates and the team is that we are able to turn our focus away from the busyness and hectic nature of life and be able to focus on Him so that he can guide and direct our paths.

On March 13-16, 2025, we will have an opportunity to practice stillness before the Lord in an effort to learn how to apply that in our everyday lives. I truly believe that God wants to teach every one of us something new – whether you’re a candidate on the weekend, it’s your first time serving, or you’ve been involved with the Tres Dias Community for a number of years. I look forward to taking this journey together.

My sister in Christ, Allison Newman, will be serving as the rector for the women’s weekend (March 20-23). Please be in prayer for both weekends as we continue to prepare God’s team that will be the hands and feet of Christ to the candidates.
