Men’s #11 - Space City Tres Dias

Dear Brothers in Christ –

My name is Roger Terrel and I attended Grace Gulf Coast Tres Dias Men’s Weekend #8 back in 2017. Christy, my wife of 43 years, and I attend and serve at Dominion Church in Dickinson and have three adult sons, Gabriel, Daniel, and Jonathan. It is my pleasure to invite and welcome you to Space City Tres Dias Men’s Weekend #11, which will be held Sept. 25-28, 2025 at Sandy Creek Bible Camp near Washington, Texas.

I have been extremely honored and humbled to have been selected by the Space City Community to serve as Rector to lead this upcoming Tres Dias Weekend. When I attended my own Tres Dias Weekend right after Hurricane Harvey, I was so overwhelmed by the love and acceptance from God that I felt, that I promised Him that I would serve this ministry in any and every capacity that He desired of me. My wife had secretly been praying that God would give me a circle of Christian Men in my life, and as a result of Tres Dias, He has given me hundreds! God used His “tool” of Tres Dias to bring me out of the pit that I was in, to save my marriage, and probably my life as well – Jesus did all the work, I just said “yes” to the invitation, and I am praying that you will do the same. I have been so blessed to have been able to serve Christ and my Brothers at every Weekend since the Weekend I attended. I didn’t realize that would someday include being asked to lead a Men’s Weekend, but God did, and He has been preparing me and stretching me all along the way!

Each spring and fall weekend retreat is structured similarly, but each one is unique in that, through dedicated prayer, God will give the Rector a “vision” for that particular Weekend of what He wants his Children to hear and experience. The theme that God has given me for this upcoming Weekend is that we are all Sons of God, and that He is well pleased with us. (Matt 3:17) Only when we realize who we are “In Christ”, as His beloved sons, can we be strengthened to live up to the calling that He has for each of our individual lives.

God will meet you wherever you are at on a Tres Dias Weekend, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been a follower of Christ for almost 50 years (like I had) or if you have just recently come to know Him as your Savior. What you will experience on this weekend is totally amazing! You are being prayed over right now by hundreds of dedicated men and women in the Tres Dias Community, individuals who all have two things in common: They said “yes” to Jesus, and they said “yes” to an invitation to Tres Dias. Please join us in September for a life changing Weekend where you will experience God and His Love like you may never have before. In addition to a variety of talks, both by Clergy and by Tres Dias Team Members, we have tremendous opportunities for fellowship, table discussions, lots of good food and snacks, heart-felt, Spirit-led Worship, skits, and some pretty hilarious attempts at humor throughout the Weekend.

I am blessed to have my beautiful Sister in Christ and Sister-in-Law by marriage, Stephanie Lindblade, serving as Rector for the Space City Women’s Weekend #11, the following week, October 2-5. If you are married or engaged, please consider having your special Lady attend this Weekend with the help of your Sponsor – it can be a tremendous bonding experience, even though you will be attending separate Weekends.
