Men,

I welcome you to Space City Tres Dias Men’s Weekend #4. My name is Greg Mitchell. I attended Central Texas Tres Dias #6. My wife Mary Ellen and I worship and serve at OneLife Church in Webster, Texas.

I am humbled and honored to be selected to serve as your Rector for this weekend. Tres Dias and the youth version called Vida Nueva have been an enormous blessing in our lives. My children Tanner, Cameron, and Lydia have attended weekends, and the impact on our family has been significant. They are almost grown and out of the house now, and I continue to pray that the seeds planted by this ministry will grow and blossom in all of our futures.

The Lord gave me the theme for the weekend several years ago through a friend who shared the phrase with me. Romans 5:8 says, “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Why? Because, “You’re Worth It!” That theme answers a lot of questions. Why does God reach down and get involved in our lives?  Because, “You’re Worth It!” Why do we put together these weekends and invite men to join us for three days out of our lives?

Because, “You’re Worth It!”

I eagerly anticipate spending time with you, worshiping, sharing stories, and building Christian fellowship. God always shows up and shows off at these weekends. I can’t wait to see how he impacts your life!

My dear friend Leslie Hurd will be serving as the Rector for the women’s weekend on April 7^th – 10^th. Please keep her, the women’s team, me, and the men’s team in your prayers as we plan, prepare, build teams and conduct the weekends that will serve our Lord and the Space City Tres Dias Community.
