Your Tres Dias weekend will be filled with great talks, lots of food, funny skits, and an incredible encounter with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Your weekend will begin with check-in between 5:30 – 7:00 on Thursday evening. Your sponsor generally brings you to camp and stays for a send-off fellowship dinner where you will have an opportunity to meet your fellow candidates and members of the team who will be serving you on the weekend. Your sponsor will leave the camp after send-off meal and you will begin an incredible weekend reuniting with Jesus Christ and His servants!
Your sponsor will arrive to pick you up at the end of the weekend around 5:00 Sunday.
PACKING LIST
During the weekend temperatures may vary so it is best to be prepared with a sweater or jacket. In addition, you will need the following personal items on the weekend:
1. Bible
2. Casual Clothing
3. We ask that you NOT bring your cell phone, watch/clock or pager. The Emergency Contact Number is 832-224-3413 in the event that you need to be contacted during the weekend.
4. Bed linens. All dorm beds are twin size bunk bed. Linens are not provided; please bring sheets or a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket.
5. Towels, washcloth, soap, toiletries, and routine medications.
6. Many people enjoy a quite white noise machine or small fan (you’ll need an extension cord.)
7. Sweater or light jacket. The air conditioning works VERY well at the camp, so you will want to bring a light cover-up regardless of the weather temperatures.
8. If you have allergies to dust, pollens or molds and take allergy medication periodically, please begin taking it now as you prepare for your Tres Dias weekend. These medications usually take a little time to build up in your system and will help you to be more comfortable throughout your weekend.
9. If you use a CPAP machine, remember to pack it! You’ll also need to bring an extension cord.
