Howdy! I attended Central Texas Tres Dias #16 in the fall of 2017. I joined the Delivered Daughters Reunion Group after my weekend and these ladies are my mighty prayer warriors. Prior to joining the SCTD community, I served in the communities of Central Texas and Alamo City. Collectively, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a chapel cha, dinning cha, dorm cha, kitchen cha, prayer cha, rollista cha, silent cha, and table cha. I’ve been head for chapel, dining, and prayer.
I worship and serve at New Hope Church in Alvin, where I’ve been a member for twenty-one years. At my church, I serve on the pastoral care team as a prayer partner.
I’m a former homeschool mom of three grown kids. And to my endless delight, I have two granddaughters who call me CiCi. I live in Dickinson, Texas, and work in Houston for the wonderful family of
Holt Cat companies. When I’m not working, my days are often spent with friends and family or serving the community with my care group, church and SCTD. Outside of those activities, I’m a huge football fan. If I’m not cheering on the Aggies or Texans, I might be reading or crafting.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Padgett. My husband, Wesley Padgett and I have been married for 13 years, have 8 children and 9 grandchildren. We attend Church Project, The Woodlands for 8 years and are a member of a house church. At church we volunteer in a variety of areas from the youth, organizing the Blood Drive quarterly, bible studies, and our annual back to school program. I am passionate about digging deep into God’s Word and walking along side other Christian women.
I attended SETTD #6 and have served multiple weekends in that community. I have served with GGCTD, and I currently serve with SCTD where we came to help support and start the community. I have served 5 of the 7 weekends. I have served in every team except chapel.
My husband and I were part of the steering committee to start Southeast Texas Vida Nueva, have served on the board and served multiple weekends with that community. We currently are supporting Central Texas VN and I will be rector for weekend #2 in February.
I have served in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in leadership capacities, created day camp curriculum, was on the board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, have held leadership positions in networking groups, and have coached girls soccer as a Nationally licensed coach for 20 years and was a USSF referee.
Cooking and gardening are two of my passions. My husband and I have hosted exchange students in our home for 3 years and we have opened our home to single moms trying to get on their feet and a homeless family our church asked us to host. We do this to follow God’s commandments of loving God and our neighbor.
I am passionate about the Tres Dias commitment to build servant leaders and the Christian community. I want to be able to be a voice for our community and continue to see SCTD grow and serve others. I am completing my master’s degree in marketing a Houston Christian University (formerly HBU) and will graduate in the spring. I want to bring my talents and skills to fulfill the role of corresponding secretary in the SCTD community.
In Christ’s Love,
Elizabeth Padgett
