My name is Travis WalkingStick. I attended Grace Gulf Coast Tres Dias #5 where I sat at the table of John. Together with my wife, Laura (of almost 16 years), and our 3 daughters (Kylee–14, Ryan–10, Waverly–6), we worship and serve at Newlands Church in Katy, TX.
I have had the honor of being Rector for Space City Tres Dias #10 & have been serving as the Space City Tres Dias Vice President on the board for the last year & a half. I have loved being a part of the Tres Dias community since 2016 & want to see this community thrive as we continue to grow.
As my oldest daughter enters high school, it’s time for me to take a step back from serving as your VP & shift my focus to allow more time for family. I am seeking an at-large position in hopes that we can come alongside families that have young children and shepherd them well within this community. I have seen first-hand the sacrifice it takes to serve on any weekend, and recognize the sacrifices that children often make for their parents to be involved as well. My heart’s desire is to see the next generation of kingdom builders training up servant leaders through Tres Dias so they can love & serve with excellence first in their homes, then in their churches and on to their communities.
If elected to this at-large position, I will connect with families and members of this community to help bring honor and glory to God.
